United States, Oregon

Firesteed has been in our portfolio for a long time, as a well-priced Oregon wine for by-the-glass and everyday drinking.  When Howard Rossbach began Firesteed many years ago, one of his early sources for grapes was an unknown vineyard in the (now) Yamhill-Carlton AVA of the Willamette Valley who was looking for a buyer:  Shea Vineyards.  And for several years, it was one of the core vineyards in the Firesteed Pinot Noir blend.

In 2002, Firesteed took over the old Flynn Winery and moved all their production to this facility, making their operation run more smoothly and giving them a storefront for retail sales.
