Frisk is an Australian wine project from the cool climate state of Victoria, in the southeast of Australia. The Frisk winery sits in the area known as the Australian Alps, and this region was originally settled by Italian immigrants. The vineyards of Frisk are planted to Riesling, Dolcetto and Merlot. The Riesling is fermented and bottled semi-dry and named Prickly for its fresh, zippy flavors. The Dolcetto and Merlot are blended roughly 50/50 and named Prickly Rosso, as it retains a little bit of frizzante fizz.
Frisk is a winery within the Old Bridge Cellars portfolio of Australian wines.
