Robert Craig
United States, California

The wines of Robert Craig Winery are very site specific, based on the owner’s philosophy about the importance of location above all else.  His Cabernets are located in some of the most sought-after areas for great vineyards:  Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain and Mount Veeder.  The wine that is made each year as a Bordeaux look-alike, where the temperature is cooler and wine has a bit more of a European edge to it, is in the south of Napa in a vineyard called Affinity.  The Chardonnay is from a southern Sonoma vineyard in an area famous for Chardonnay, called Durell.

Tiny amounts of wine are made each year, and we get an allocation that swiftly sells out.
